Default 90% Merlot & 10% Cabernet Sauvignon

Chateau Condom

Built in 1690 by Sieur de Condom - Perceval, Kings of France's squire.
Located in Loubes-Bernac.

A wines storehouse where modernism - with a stainless steel tank for
vinifications and tradition a underground and arched cellar where wines are
growing old are presents.

Country and Region: Bordeaux, France

Producer: Flavones

Classification: Cotes de Duras

Vintages available: 2002

Red or white: Red

Grape Varieties: 90% Merlot & 10% Cabernet Sauvignon

Maturation and Vinification
Produced from 15 year old vines. The vineyard covers 5 hectares of chalky
clay soil and is situated on Loubes-Bernac, 16 km north east from Duras. The
wine is vinified traditionally in temperature controlled stainless steel
vats. It is then aged in oak barrels for 12 months.

Tasting Notes
Brilliant red with purple sheen. Powerful nose. Very good tannic structure
developing into a long aftertaste
