Default Newbie...Juicer question.

Hi All,

I am very new to wine making ,1 gallon to date, I have a power
juicer that removes all the juice from fruit and veg. The machine leaves a
container of pulp and a container of the pure juice.

Am I able to use this in wine making or will the wine be lacking
something if the pulp isnt in the liquid for the start of the process?

If I am able to ues the liquid do I just continue with the reciepe
as normal (re quantities).

Thanks

Paul

Yes, you have the right idea. There may be a case where the pulp would add
something but chances are that those things could be good or bad. I do Wild
Grape, Red and Black Currant, Plum and Cherry-Plum wines from juice though
my juicing method is different from yours.

Does the juicer crack the seeds or extract anything from the seeds?

Hi

Some fruits are not suitable for juicing, such as plums which are very thick
like syrup.Try to stick to apples, pears, carrots, etc.,

Peter
