Sparkie, I am pretty sure that grapes are grown in every state. That having
been said, however grapes growing is VERY site specific. So things like soils, slope elevation, water table (if present) water availability if irrigation is needed, length of growing season, pecularilarities of frost phenomenon, etc are factors that determine the suitability of a site. Regards, Rex Franklin "ProfessorSparky" wrote in message ... Does anyone know of a map of the USA that shows where grapes are usually grown? Thanks. |
