Default grape growing regions of USA?

Sparkie, I am pretty sure that grapes are grown in every state. That having
been said, however grapes growing is VERY site specific. So things like
soils, slope elevation, water table (if present) water availability if
irrigation is needed, length of growing season, pecularilarities of frost
phenomenon, etc are factors that determine the suitability of a site.
