Default Harvested today

Harvested approx 600lbs petite syrah today w/a buddy. Was worried
about the weather-it was threatening to rain for 2 days but today was
dry and clear w/puffy cumulus clouds. Had to do a lot of selective
cutting as dried and moldy grapes (sometimes in the same bunch) were
present. But we did it in 3.5 hours with crush and de-stem. TA was
..67, pH around 3.6-3.7 added k-bisulfite to 60ppm. will take brix
tomorrow while letting the raisined grapes rehydrate and spew their
sugar into the must. cleaned up everything and am now imagining (well,
trying) what the end product will taste like. life is pretty good
sometimes!
