Default Rose Hip Wine Question

I have several Bonica roses in my front yard, which are quite prolific
in the number of blooms and rose hips produced. Unfortunately, the
blooms have no fragrance, hence I won't use the petals for wine.
Would the hips from these non-fragrant roses make for good wine?

Default Rose Hip Wine Question

Probably. The fragrance of the raose has nothing I know of to do with
the quality of the rose hip. Try it and see. Go to
http://winemaking.jackkeller.net/request.asp and scroll down to "Rose
Hip Wine" for three recipes.
