Default Best Bullet for Reloadin 9MM?

I have just bought a S&W 952 Long Slide and was wondering if anyone
could advise me as to the best bullet for reloading 9MM for PPC
shooting. The gun has a 6" barrel and I could purchase swaged, cast or
jacketed rounds (Montana Gold). Best bullet and best weight?

I think I'd use an amusing 1995 Merlot.

If this weren't the winemaking newsgroup, I'd ask if your intention of doing
PPC is to carry, then I'd say the best bullet would be .45ACP JHP which
naturally implies you bought the wrong gun.

But since it is the winemaking newsgroup...

So what newsgroup were you -aiming- for?

You might try increasing the free SO2 by about 20 ppm in your loads,
and definitely should consider using that barrel for some
micro-oxygenation.

I'm using an evaluation license of nemo since 63 days.
You should really try it!

I'd've figured that comments about shots would be on alc.alc.c2h5oh.

perhaps a good quality champagne cork, renowned for their velocity and
impact?

No need to apologize; I don't think anyone else realized you are a
winemaker. There a lot of newer people on the group now.

By the way, I used to reload years ago; that's how we could afford to
shoot. If your goal is to learn to shoot the gun (or how the gun
shoots) - cast is cheaper while you are getting a feel for it. then
you can move up to swagged or jacketed which shoot about the same. My
dad still shoots and reloads if you want me to hook you up with his
email and are planning to load for this too. We were more 'long gun'
shooters though.
