Hi folks,
Had some 2001 Limoux (Caves des Sieurs D'Arques Haute Vallee) yesterday. Wonderfluffle! Rather colourless though with a greenish tinge, only slightly heavier than water Nose: Clarified butter (Indian "ghee"), nuts, caramel Taste: Consistent with the smells, plus a very pleasing acidity of lemons Length: Very good indeed with aftertaste of minerals and caramel They do tend to follow Meuersault-style, do they not? Cheers |
