Hi
Had a bottle of AOC Vir=E9-Cless=E9 2003 from "Cave des Vignerons in Vir=E9 (Sa=F4ne-et-Loire)" with a grilled salmon on a base of couscous garnished with fresh mint and saut=E9ed brussel sprouts. A hazy, pale wine with a greenish tinge and a very impressive bouquet of honey, red apples and a touch of toast. Full-bodied in the mouth showing well-matched acidity. The 13% alcohol was in full force in the mouth, giving the feeling of having a light vodka, especially in the aftertaste/ later glasses. Not a bad buy for EUR 6,75. Cheers Somil |
