What do you suggest for oven-baked chipmunk in cheery sauce? Syrah? Hey Uranium Committee (can I call You UC?), Oven Baked Chipmunk, nah, too skinny. Let's go for a nice, juicy Grey Squirrel. One that's been fed on sunflower seeds, corn, bread, and whatever we throw out for them. They taste just like chicken (whatever chicken tastes like). I keep my squirrels well fed - just in case. I would go with a nice Zin. Dick R. |

You could pair chipmunk or squirrel with my new Zin bottling named
"Belching Chicken". It also pairs well with roadkill. The name is only partly a joke, I really am going to bottle my 2004 zin with that name and an appropriate picture- so no one steal it or I'll sue! |

Hey Kenneth, And here I thought chickens just clucked. I can imagine a Zin would go very well with "grilled" Raccoon. Sounds like your wine label might rival the Rex Goliath 47lb. Rooster. Please keep us posted. :-) Dick R. |

Lets see now Belching Chicken with grilled raccoon. Now that just sends all
kinds of meaningful images. Bit better than scrawny chipmunks or grey squirrels. I gather Dick likes Zin with just about everything! I'll have to try some. I think I had a glass once several years ago. Have you tried a Zin merlot? I have seen it, but have not tried it. It is a funny colour. I asked a wine shop keeper about it and I was told it was great after cutting the lawn in mid August. It hits you faster than beer. What a recommendation. Vell Boyes, I don't know about no chipmonk or an art monkl(great claws) but
back in the mid ages about 1265 or so, I guy I know, Murray the Profane who wanted to do a little hannukah meal centered around a fricassed weasal, besides latkes, mutilated arucola and fernat branca, we served a special holiday mead, "eye of the chazzer" and a late harvest maphrodaphene. The meal was for the 23 members of Murray's Congregation's mens club, the Knights of the Pitiful or the Schnorres for short as in Kinahora its the Schnorrers and I'm still waiting for the tip. J.Murray Fefferman World oldest wineguy & caterer as told to Joe "Beppe" Rosenberg It is so good to see that you are still alive after your sojourn down amongst the snake eaters at Fort Bragg. I was hoping that you would provide me with some hints on kosher brown bags that I put my wine in before passing it around down here at the train station. Bill |
