At a summer afternoon party this weekend in honor of visiting German guests,
the highest votes went to a 2003 Brooks Riesling from Oregon. Comparable to St. Michelle Eroica, but only $14 at the local Whole Foods Market. Also compared well against the host's two favorite Alsatians, too. Wine bottles, that is, not dogs. |
