Hi Vino, Robert, Ed, Larkin and Bill,
It's all over now and I have a very contented feeling. The stir-fry: Thin-sliced beef marinated in soy sauce with just a little of the Cline zin. Mixed with green peppers, onions and peanuts. Yum! The wine: Cline Ancient Vines Zinfandel Contra Costa 1997. My wife thought the wine was "chewey, with appropriate tannins, currants and a bold and lingering finish". My sophisticated palate said it was yum! Thanks for your suggestions and Cheers! Dick |
