Default Hester Creek Goes Down

To any fellow western Canadians: Hester Creek Winery, in the Okanogan
Valley, has closed it's doors. Poor management has forced them into
bankruptcy. They were somewhat inconsistent with their wines, but they had
a few gems in their portfolio. I, for one, will be sad to see them go.

There are other, better BC wineries still in business.

LOL, Bill.... Very true.... Just enjoyed my last bottle of the '00 Nota
Benne the other night. Now That's a winery! I heared something about them
coming out with a Sauv. Blanc...? do you know anything about that?

Hadn't heard that, but they use mostly SB in their dessert wine, Sequentia, so
no reason they might not decide to try a dry white.

They also have some chard and pinot noir planted that isn't currently used in
their wines, and that might make the winemaker twitch to do something with
it.......
