Default Duty Free now that's a funny one

While waiting for my flight from CDG yesterday I was browsing the duty
free. Now I already know that I am not going to find a bargain, but when I
ran into a bottle of Parallel 45 for almost 12 Euro that I can buy up the
street for 8.50USD almost any day of the week, it was too much.

Even Galleries Lafayette gets into the mark up game selling "duty free"
goods a prices essentially higher than at the store downtown. cheap splits
at 5 euro when I could have bought better wine for less in the Hausmann
Blvd. store.

any way it was nice to see overpriced wines after a week of crying over low
prices ;-)

Next time you go to Paris, visit Lavinia on Boulevard Madeleine 3-5.
Most impressive wineshop I ever saw :-)
