Default Totally OT: A message to John Taverner

Hi John,
My "PFW - unusual Downey WP count"
I sent you an e-mail via "reply to sender only" (Netscape) because
it was totally OT and non-newsgroup.
You received my e-mail and asked me a question. My attempts to reply
to your message were greeted with the dreaded "Undeliverable" message.
Very strange. My reply was to suggest subscribing to the rec.birds
newsgroup. It's mostly North America, but we do have contributors
from the UK and other parts of the world. There are a lot of very
helpful and knowledgeable folks here and I think your question
about book suggestions for BC and Alaska might bring some good
results.
BTW: I was going to suggest that if you couldn't access the rec.birds
newsgroup, I would post the question for you and forward any
posts, but that might not work.

Anyway, that's why you haven't heard from me.
