A very nice GV
This is the Strasser Hasel Alte Reben GV 2007 from Weingut Allram. Not a
Smaragd or Federspiel for some reason, but with 13.5% ABV anyway. Light yellow with a greenish tinge this is a very typical GV, dry and intense (benefits from time in the glass) and also very refreshing, with good length. A steal at the price imho (9.20EUR in Austria, 12EUR in Norway(!)) Had it with baked salmon at Christmas and with flatfish yesterday, excellent with both. I'm going to buy a couple more bottles today! Wonder what our resident Austrian thinks of it :-) Anders |
