Hello,
I have read your list of stops - you appear to have had a wonderful stay in
Bourgogne!
I would like to know to what extent your trip was a special case - you seem
to have got very chummy with the various producers (lunch here and there
etc) - of these producers, would they all welcome visitors?
TIA
Cheers
Nils

To make a long story very short, my wife and I have been visiting
France annually for many, many years. I have an affiliation with a
wine distribution and import company and made contacts at a number of
wineries that way over a number of years. Additionally, since on this
trip we were accompanied by three other couples I arranged a tour
service operator that we have used in the past Peter Smith with Avalon
Tours to help plan the itinerary, arrange bus transportation and help
with translation. Many of the stops were arranged through the
distribution company. A few were arranged by Peter. I think that
most everywhere we stopped that visiors were welcomed on an
appointment basis. Lunches were an accomodation made in part because
of my affiliatin with the distribution company.
