Default 2004 Guy Roulot Meursault "Le Meix Chavaux"

Last night at dinner with a roasted loin of swordfish larded with
bacon and served with creamed leeks I opened 2004 Guy Roulot Meursault
"Le Meix Chavaux". I've always enjoyed the wines of Guy Roulot but
this one left me just a bit flat. Very, very pale gold in the glass
with the viscosity of water. Not much nose just a bit of citrus and
slight nutty/woody aroma. The wine was a bit lean and sharp with a
high toned lemony zing and not much charm. It didn't match well with
dinner or cheese. I'm not really sure if I didn't like the wine or if
it was just a bad match. "B-/C+"

I usually like Roulot's wines, too. Especially his basic Bourgogne.
But seem to remember not liking the '04 much. Thanks for note.
