The curse of 7
Reading Jancis Robinson's review of the "007 Claret vintage reminded me of
the curse of 7 in respect of red Bordeaux. 2007..."challenging" 1997 lightweight luncheon wines 1987 unremarkable 1977 light 1967 dire 1957 luncheon claret 1947 wonderful as sometimes happens, when the reds are crap the sweet whites sing. 2007 Sauternes looks to be a stunner. JT
