having this tonight with, what else, filet. This is a huge intense wine
with a lot of pepper in the nose. A bit green so will be decanting. It has a nice lingering taste which I will spend the next ten minutes obsessing over beofre I figure out what it is -- Joseph Coulter, cruises and vacations www.josephcoulter.com 877 832 2021 904 631 8863 cell |

Would enjoy your TN's after you have the wine. I still have a bottle of
the '05 in the cellar. was not altogether excited when I had the first. I put the seocnd away for a while longer in the hope it might develop some more interesting character. As it opened the very berry (raspberry mainly) nature of the wine came out. I was sort of intrigued because Dale says he doesn't care for Malbec and yet I was reminded of the vegetal character of one of Dale's favorites, Cab Franc. Though as noted green on its own it went well with the steak which helped to broaden the mouth characters while the acidity cut the richness of the steak. A very nice blend. I would in a better world have saved this one for a couple of years. -- Joseph Coulter, cruises and vacations www.josephcoulter.com 877 832 2021 904 631 8863 cell |
