Hi;
I am in the North Eastern U.S. When do brussell sprouts come into season, I have not seen them in my market anywhere. Thanks Steve Be A Healthy Vegan Or Vegetarian http://www.geocities.com/beforewisdo...ealthyVeg.html "The great American thought trap: It is not real unless it can be seen on television or bought in a shopping mall" Steve's Home Page http://www.geocities.com/beforewisdom/ |

According to :
When do brussell sprouts come into season, I have not seen them in my market anywhere. In the UK I would expect them to be starting to appear around about now, but it's been a very odd year as far as growing is concerned this year - I'm just getting a second crop of strawberries! - so it could be as late as December, I guess. -- Caption Competition: http://sig.comps.org/caption/ |

Steve, we have been finding brussels sprouts for the past couple of weeks here in Virginia. They've been really good! I don't know where they're from, but they've been great. Chris |

I have found that in the Pacific Northwest the best time to eat them is
late fall to mid-winter. They're nice and sweet and not pungent tasting at all. Granted we're on opposite sides of the continent - I wouldn't think that the brussel sprout season would be much different for you.
