"Jennifer Huebl" wrote in message k.net... In article , says... Veganaise is good, dense and creamy like real mayonnaise without that awful greasy sulphur-like eggy taste (imo). Veganaise is very good -- if you're in the mood for a mayo taste. Regular style veganaise seems to emulate like Hellman's Mayo, and Hain veggie mayo emulates Miracle Whip. Though I'm not sure if Hain has honey or dairy in it...I think it has honey (I used to buy it in my pre vegan days). J.C Hi Jen, Nice to see you around here again. The first Vegan "mayo" I bought was by Wild Oats but they quite making it. I tried the Nasoya but found it to be too sweet like Miracle Whip. I agree that the Veganaise is similar to Hellmann's in consistency. Trader Joe's makes a Soy Mayo but it contains egg yolk. ?*! I ask, what is the point of making a Soy mayo with the cholesterol of egg yolk? -nancy- |
