Default Acai - where to buy?

I just read about Acai and its nutritional benefits. Has anyone seen it
in any normal supermarkets or health food stores or anywhere? Should I
go look in mexican markets? I read on Wikipedia that you can get it in
juices or frozen but not fresh because it spoils too fast. Is it
expensive?

There are many places to get this (in many different forms). You can
get the juice (blend) in more healthfood stores (just ask if they don't
have it - they will get it) and their are many distributors who sell it
as a juice blend (Monavie is one, but VERY expensive) or mixed with
other anitoxidants. I use Xoçai (pronounced SO SHE) and it is a blend
of Acia and other berries as well as cocoa..I said cocoa not chocolate,
even though that is what it turns in to and tastes like (but without
the added fillers). Seems cocoa has a higher anitixodant level than
Acia and together they have helped me heal my gut (I have celiac
disease) and enjoy chocolate (careful only two of thier products are
suitable for vegan diets). here is my like, where you can go and get
information on the products: http://mxi.myvoffice.com/lisaalamendola/

But if all you are doing is looking for the juice blends, I recommend
the ones in the stores...I even saw one in my local grocery store
(publix) last week!
