I used to know many Monty Python sketches off by heart when I was a young
chap. But now I can't remember them. They may well have coined the phrase.
It sound just the sort of thing they would.

Peter Cook and Dudley Moore used to have a series called Not Only But Also
with two workmen characters who were always eulogizing tea with the refrain,
"Nothing like a nice cup of tea." You might be able to find audio recordings
somewhere on the web.

How ironic. I saw this image in passing just a few hours ago while
searching Google Images for something totally unrelated. I *think* it was
this image. I didn't examine it, I just remember the phrase. Being one
who likes tea and dislikes war, I found it memorable. Anyway, trying the
search phrase again, there it is.

(The search phrase was "give peas a chance". Don't ask.)
