Having done some re- search on the matter, I have not been able to de- termine correct proto-call re- garding whether or not one sh- ould replace the pot lid when st- eeping greens. I normally leave the lid off, but recall reading some time ago that this is not necessarily the proper way to proceed. Is there a protocall regarding this? wizard of ahhs/ |

Leave the lid on - it maintains the correct brewing temperature. Brewing
with the lid off lets the tea cool too much before it's finished brewing. That goes for all tea, not just green. howlerman "**" wrote in message ink.net... (btw, the tea was very good) maybe leave the lid on applies to some really delicate green tea. regards, Pam @ Home Cort Furniture Rental and Honesty are two exclusive concepts. |
