Hi all,
I was looking at the pages of Jing Tea Shop, and I was slightly puzzled by their recommendation: http://www.jingteashop.com/pd_1999_raw_7352.cfm. I thought that 8 years, more or less, is an acceptable age at which to drink raw pu. Is it due to the minimalist tendencies in the copy at Jing? Something that is common knowledge, so why waste space? Or something else? |

Hi Ozzy, I believe, that the Storage Recommendation : Long Term Storage means, that this particular tea will improve over the time. It does not mean, that it isn't drinkable now! You should notice, that some pu-erh (especially 2005-2007) is made of inferior leaves or is blended in way that causes it to detoriate over the time. You know, bad pu-erh will mostly make bad aged pu-erh... Tomas tuochatea.blogspot.com |
