I sort of don't consider it real tea if it's flavored. My favorite is
a Ceylon. However, I'm also guiltily drinking a Christmas tea with
lots of clove in it. Toci

I'm drinking a green tea. I don't know what it is specifically. Since my
tastes change, I might have a favorite to report tomorrow.

LOL - I don't consider it real tea unless there's real tea in it.

My absolute favorite is ti kuan yin. I also love rooibos,
particularly earl grey rooibos. Earl Grey tea makes me sick for some
reason, but with earl grey rooibos I can get a good bergamot flavor
without feeling ill afterwards.

My favorite tea at the moment is "Cold Summit," (DongDing) roasted, rich, and fruited, brewed to strength, and drunk in a gulp to fill the mouth and throat. Yum. Gotten from The Tea Gallery in NYC.

I've been in a blissful rut of three: Huo Shan Huang Ya (Yellow tea),
Bi Lo Chun, and a heavier roasted Shui Xian in that order. I'm just
now starting to want to break it after quite a few months. Most likely
it will be to Chinese blacks which are an area I'm not all that
familiar with and want to explore.

P.S. You may want to try Mlesna brand "Monk's Blend" as it is a nice
mix of pomegranate and vanilla.

Still alternating between longjing and tieguanyin, would need to
finish my white teas supply soon before next season comes.

I second that. I wish I could find a cheaper approximate, but I am
savoring the little bit I have left. This tea has so much flavor and
aroma that sometimes I have wondered if there was some sort of
external flavoring added to the tea. I had a vaguely similar oolong
from Hou De but I forget the name. It was much cheaper and less
fruity, but seemed to me similarly oxidized. This kind of darker
oolong is what I'm liking right now.

Any black [green-black, semi-red, ...] Darjeeling that leaves no doubt
as to where it comes from - tastewise.
I recently moved down to the Bavarian alps and Iīm still amazed about
the quality of the tap water they got down here. My DJs and some funny
Oolongs really seem to like it BUT my Assams donīt.
Oh well, you canīt have it all ...
