Just stay away from the bottled RAW tea malt beverages. The green tea one is just horrible, but the peach black tea is only bad. Either way not good, but I really hadn't expected much more. I've never been a big alcohol person in the first place, but I appreciate a really good beer or real margarita. Neither go well with tea. - Dominic |

Nicest "mixture" of tea and alcohol I've ever had was a tall glass of vodka (polish Zytnia, if you can get it) and a cup of strong black tea (Assam or Hainan, or similar pungent, strong tea, a Samovar might be handy for this) side by side. Take a sip of vodka and follow it with a sip of the tea and take delight in the explosion. Beware though, you may forget how much vodka you are drinking, the effects tend to have a time lag. Robby |

Hongkongers have been known to mix bottled green tea with scotch. They've also been known to mix first growth Bordeaux with Sprite, so take it with a grain of salt, but I've had Ito En bottled sencha mixed with Johnnie Walker and thought it quite nice. |
