TAKASHIMAYA NEW YORK is seeking a Full-time Sales Associate for THE
TEA BOX. the department dedicated to fine teas, snacks and tea related
accessories on the Lower Level of Takashimaya New York, is currently
seeking a regular Full-time SALES ASSOCIATE.


SALES ASSOCIATE JOB DUTIES:
- Maintain the Store's high level of customer service by providing a
friendly and welcoming shopping environment
- Perform sales of multiple brands of high-end luxury goods
- Maintain and demonstrate product knowledge, and can effectively
answer customer questions in a polite and professional manner
- Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively using suggestive
selling techniques and by developing a client following
- Monitor and ensure adequate stock on the sales floor; ensure all
merchandise is tagged properly, and presented in a neat and appealing
manner
- Assist in display maintenance and light housekeeping
- Operate cash register; wraps and bags customer purchases
- Participate in all inventory counts, store meetings and training
seminars as necessary

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be energetic, mature, and professional
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be flexible, and able to communicate effectively with
customers, co-workers, and Management
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
- Must possess a high level of customer service
- Must be able to work on weekdays and evenings; weekend availability
preferred
- Must have 2 to 4 years of high-end sales experience

COMPENSATION:
- Base salary in addition to storewide incentive plans
- Upon successful completion of a 90 day Probationary Period, Full
Time Staff are eligible to receive medical and dental benefits, in
addition to Vacation, Sick, and Personal Leave. After one year of
employment, Staff are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401K plan.
