Hi! I've got couple of questions. Should I use the leaves more than one
time. What teas are best to use more than once? Can I use lets say Earl Gray more than once? How to store the used leaves? Do I let them dry or use them still moist? How long should I put them in water? Are the temperatures for later infusions still the same as for the first one? Non-connected question: Is tea really better without sugar? Thanks in advance! |

Non-connected answer- tea is better without sugar. Unless you think
otherwise. You can use tea leaves more than one time, but be prepared for disappointment. Black teas often do less well on resteeping, but that's because most people want black tea strong. I personally either resteep immediately, or put wet leaves in the refrigerator overnight to resteep the next day. Just in general, I don't think you need to raise the temperature of
further infusions. Just steep longer each aditional time. I have had good and bad luck with multple infusions of various teas. My hibiscus herbal infusion didn't do well more than twice. however My irih breakfast seemes to work well for 2-4 cups. it just depends on how much tea I add to the bag for the original, (I like mine strong anyways) hope this helps On Jan 23, 10:55 am, "Cos" wrote: Hi! I think tea is better without sugar. The sugar spoils the flavour. If I taste a tea and don't like it then I won't automatically add sugar - I just won't have it again.
