Default Dog shushi

Anyone know anything about using raw dog meat to make sushi? I hear they do
it somewhere, but I don't remember where.

Please let me know, as I have a dog that's totally asking for it.

If you did hear that is was "done somewhere" you heard wrong.
In Japan where sushi (as we know it) was created, dog meat wasn't and isn't
eaten.
In Korea and some parts of China where dog meat is eaten to this day, all of
the dishes call for
slow cooking, suggesting that perhaps dog flesh may be tough or stringy.
Such meat usually does not lend itself to quick searing or raw presentation.
If you are determined to consume your dog, forget about sushi and think
soups and stews.
Hope this helps.

Please don't feed the trolls. Don't even feed them dogmeat.

The only place I know they serve dog as a food, or used to, is Korea.
And I would believe that it's cooked.

Some parts of Japan serve raw horse meat as sushi or sashimi. Anyone
had this? Not as tough as dog meat I suppose? Pluto tattaki and Goofy
handroll?

Horse sashimi is found usually only in the prefectures that permit the
slaughtering for consumption purposes. Probably Kumamoto prefecture
is the best known in this regard where it's called Ba-Sashi
(literally Horse Sashimi) rather than the Sakura niku known elsewhere.
Anyway, it is really really good.

Basashi is readily available at izakaya in Tokyo.

And, I agree that it is really tasty.

Lets hear some unconventional ones you've had. I've had only a few, had
turtle, peacock, raw cow brain(would that be sashimi??), and some that my
mom won't tell me.

Ox Tail, Alligator, Caribou, Rattlesnake, Grasshoppers, and Moose.
What was peacock like? And cow brains? straight up? or fried with
onions?

Nothing unconventional about Ox-tail. Only had turtle in soup. Had
pheasant, but not peacock. Never had raw cow brains, but had 'em (calves,
actually) breaded (sesos empanadas) and in fritters (frituras de seso).
Haven't tried alligator, rattlesnake, caribou or moose, but sure love
venison, blood rare (and its liver, kill warm, sashimi).
