Default Does seal or whale meat make good sushi?

I've heard that Inuits eat raw seal meat.

Don't know what it taste like but it ain't cheap.

Had whale once, that was enough. IMHO not very good.

Had whale once, that was enough. IMHO not very good.

I've had very good whale sushi. It was better than the best toro I've ever
eaten.
I've also had very uninspiring whale sushi as well.
I think, like all fish and mammals, it depends on the cut and probably the
species.
I've never heard of seal being used in sushi although if it exists at all it
would
probably be in the far north areas of Hokkaido (The northernmost main
Japanese island)
since I have at least heard of Todo-nabe (Sea Lion hot pot?). Even then I
doubt it would
be any kind of mainstream cuisine.

I've read somewhere that raw seal tastes like blood, like licking a cut.
