Default Sushi in Valencia (Spain)

Fish in Spain is very good and relatively cheap. Spaniards have just
discovered sushi. You'll find a lot of japanese restaurants in Madrid
and Barcelona.

Valencia (750.000 inhabitants, 1.5 millions in the metropolitan area)
is the third Spanish city, capital of Valencia Region (4 million
inhabitants). A prosperous coastal city, weather is perfect and
Valencians are famous for going out a lot. We have traffic jams at 3
am every weekend.

An you know what? There is not a single sushi bar worth of its name in
the whole Region! It's a shame!!!

There are several successful "japanese" restaurants in Valencia, but
the people in charge are not japanese. The sushi they serve is
unedible.

Recently they have opened a small sushi bar. The sushi is more or less
edible but not really good. A japanese girl is in charge, but she is
not usually at the bar, so a lot of different (european) people makes
sushi and they are not skillful at all. The bar is very small and
uncomfortable, but a complete success. You never find a table.

I think Valencia is ready for a good, real sushi bar.

If you are thinking of opening a sushi bar anywhere in Spain, Valencia
is the place. The first one is going to make a lot of money.
Guaranteed. There is an army of people in Valencia waiting for the
real thing. And yes, I´m a member of this army. Do us a favor and get
rich!
