"I'll give it shot over the next week or two. See what's up"
I'd open the door and look in first. If it looks empty at lunchtime I'd make a u-turn. It used to be crowded with Japanese people at lunchtime - and just about all of them seemed to be getting my favorite dish, chirashi. |

Ken -
OK, I went to Sushi Ten and ordered chirashi. Not bad, lots of stuff on it, nothing very bad, nothing very great, better than the other junk chirashi I've had around Tucson, butt definitely not up to the old S10 standard. I agree with you about the rice now too, not that bad, but definitely not that great. Lowlights: too much shredded daikon, a bit of cucumber and scallion, and two giant pieces of "sea legs" as filler - but still lots of fishy stuff, nothing great. The new owner - the Tucson sushi baron - heavyset white feller - was sitting at a table with his laptop ordering his employee to buy stuff (50 lb. sacks of sea legs, maybe) from the local Moony distributor. I just missed the former owner who had just ate there. And the former owner wil be opening up his new place in Chandler, AZ in a couple of weeks. It will be called Sushi Ken (with a K). I hope it's as good as the old place was! ww |

In article , says...
If you had to kill the pig with its eyes locked on yours - would you eat the pig's meat and body parts? Are you a psycho killer? Yes. And I would thank it for giving it's life to sustain me, and make sure that as a sign of respect, any useable part was used by me, or someone else with a use for them, instead of discarded as rubbish with no respect. -- Carl Robson Audio stream: http://www.bouncing-czechs.com:8000/samtest Homepage: http://www.bouncing-czechs.com Now Playing at home:The Dresden Dolls-Shores Of California |
