Default where are wombats?

Can someone tell me whether Wombats live only in Australia,
or also on other continents?

Apart from zoos, of course.

We all know that Wombats are to be found in Zoos.

Well, there is a stuffed one residing on my desk. g But yes, I believe
they only live in Austrailia.

There was a character called Willy Wombat in a program called Tinga and
Tucker, which was about 2 Koala bears that I used to watch as a kid. I think
it was Austrialian, still a kind of cult classic probably wasn't available
in the US though. I can still remember the theme tune. It had a kind of
Christian theme and they used to do renactments of Bible Stories, in
retrospect was quite funny the Gospel will never be the same again. LOL

Interesting.... It sounds sort of like something called "Vegitales," with
vegetables (I am not making this up) playing Biblical characters.
