Default Montreal dining for a group

Greetings-

I'm looking for a recommendation for a restaurant in Montreal for a
group of about 10-12. It should be quiet enough for us to talk, but
there's no need for it to be really quiet. (In fact, we make enough
noise that we'd prefer not to have it be so quiet that we disturb
others.)

We'll all be at a conference at the Palais de Congres, so something
not too far from there would be a plus. Cuisine is flexible, but
something relatively local would be good. Price in the USD 25-30 per
person range would be ideal.

Thanks-
Andy Perrin
