Default Nashville on Saturday night - New Year's Eve

Someone from another ng will be in Nashville for New Year's evening and
day. She's looking for a couple of nice restaurants, mid scale as in
not having to wear tuxes or evening gowns but nice semi-formal or just
dressy type clothes. She wants good regional food with nice atmosphere
and good service. She's also looking for a nice restaurant with a
great breakfast. They are thinking of doing the river boat ride
excursion that included dinner and entertainment so if anyone has any
feedback on this, she would really appreciate it. AFAIK she is leaving
sometime tomorrow. She's working on having internet access while she's
gone but it won't be a high priority. TIA

I suggested she try here but she didn't think she'd get a response in
time or at all because she doesn't read the group. I'm thinking y'all
are pretty helpful and would help if you have info. That's her post
above, altered to read in the third person.

Any ideas?

At the late date, I would doubt that anything will be available short
of White Castle.

But you might want to try....Houston's, The Cooker, Ruth's Chris, The
Stockyard or the Opryland Hotel.

Thanks, Ward. I'll pass the info along.

I liked Mambu (I guess they're Asian fusion). If you look
in ba.food archives I reveiwed it in 2003.
