Default Unsafe seafood warning

Yesterday my family and I dined at 888 SeaFood (a Chinese restaurant) on
Rosemead Blvd. in Rosemead for the first time upon a friend's
recommendation. A few hours later we all got sick (food poisoning). When we
called the management at this restaurant they pretended they could not
speak English. When we look them up in the LA county's public health
website, we learned that 888 Seafood restaurant had numerous health
violations (http://www.lapublichealth.org/rating/ratedetail.cfm).

The lesson we learned was to check out the restaurant before dinning there.

Did you report this incident to the public health authorities in your
community? If not, you certainly should.

It's a troll. It's posted every few months. Some disgruntled ex-employee or a
competitor.

This is the same poster who has been carrying out a phony usenet vendetta
against the same restaurant for over 5 years. Same thing as usual -- bad
food, bad service, rude treatment, poor sanitation, staffed by illegal
immigrant workers who spread SARS, everyone got sick, ad infinitum. One of
the former messages, in addition to disparaging the restaurant, went on to
express the poster's resentment that so many Chinese had settled in the San
Gabriel Valley.

The inspection records and ratings for this restarant, while not exemplary,
are no worse than average for its class. It reseived a B grade after the
most recent inspection.

Actually, it was kind of nice to see a public health site address for
personal research. Located a restaurant I had been looking for for a while
now.

I've eaten in the dirtiest restaurants and never gotten sick. I've eaten in
the cleanest places and gotten sick. Restaurant ratings are just another
way to bilk money out of the hard working entrepreneur. I take them with a
grain of salt, literally.

It was my first post about this restaurant and our experience was real. And
none of us was "ex-employee" or a "competitor". We have no interest in this
business what so ever other than wishing it would not victimize more
customers.

People like you seem to quickly pass harsh and errorneous judgments on
postings you don't like to see. What could be embarassing to you could very
well benefit others who would otherwise be victimized by bad business.

It's a shame that cowards like yourself find their ways around the
internet.
