I've started working at a new restaurant and the toilet cleaning is a

Is there a law that applies to who should clean the toilets? Waiter or
washing up person?

You buy the restaurant...then you get to make the rules.

If you are new to the restaurant business...you are in for some
surprises. If the boss tells you to wash windows....you wash
windows or get another job.

Law? Hardly.

The new guy washed the toilets. When some other new guy starts,
you can trick him into thinking he has to wash toilets - just as
they did to you.

Until then, it's your job.
