Default Papaya smoothie from Malaysia

In this papaya smoothie, we are not using the neutral tasting papaya to
only make our smoothie smooth, and flavour it up with other fruits...
No, this papaya smoothie is really a papaya only smoothie (or almost
papaya only smoothie...) making use of the fresh ingredients available
in almost every Malaysian household with a garden.

The ingredients below make 1 smoothie of about 2 cups (500 ml)

Papaya Smoothie: ingredients

-juice of 2 limau kasturi (calamansi lime) : 1/3 fluid ounce (10ml)
-12 ice cubes
-2 tablespoon liquid honey: 1 ounce (30 gr)
-3.5 ounce (100gr) fresh red papaya (the inner red "fleshy" fruit
part): This is what you get when you spoon out the red flesh of the
papaya after first removing the seeds of half the papaya. 1 whole not
too big papaya weighs 21 ounce (600gr) : 2/3 of the fruit is skin and
lots and lots of papaya seeds
-5 fluid ounce (150ml) full milk

Papaya Smoothie: preparation
1.Place all ingredients in the cup of an electric blender, milkshake
maker or food processor and blend until smooth.
2.Taste your smoothie. If you smoothie is not sweet enough: add more
honey. If your smoothie is too sweet, add more calamansi lime.
3.Pour into chilled glass and serve smoothie immediately.

Enjoy,

Stef
