Default Double Chocolate Shockers

Double Chocolate Shockers

This is my favorite recipe when I really need a "double" chocolate
shock.

Ingredients:

2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter or margarine, softened (better with butter)
1 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
2 c. chocolate chips

Directions:

Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Cream
butter,
brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla in a large mixing bowl until
creamy. Beat in eggs for about 2 minutes or until light and fluffy.
Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded
tablespoon
onto ungreased cookie sheets (I use parchment paper). Bake at 350
degrees
for 8-10 minutes or until cookies are puffed. Cool on baking sheets
and
remove to a wire rack.
