I'm really not here to stir anything up, but I'm very curious as to
why someone who professes to have no need/interest in meat would spend so much effort to make something look/taste/feel like real meat? Is there some valid reason, that I haven't thought of? I'm doubting it, since I've been thinking about this for many years (like, since I first discovered that people were doing it in the 70s). It still just continues to astound me. If anyone seriously has thought about this, and is willing to share their thoughts on it, I really want to know...but I'm not going veg, no matter what the answer is. |
