Default Orange Turkey Thighs

Orange Turkey Thighs



2 turkey thighs, skin removed

1/2 tsp. onion powder

1/4 tsp. ground white pepper

1/2 cup orange juice

1 tsp. soy sauce

1 tsp. grated orange peel



Sprinkle both sides of turkey thighs with onion powder and white pepper.

Place in baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over turkey.

Cover with waxed paper and microwave on high for 5 minutes. Reduce power

to 50% (medium) and microwave for 20 to 30 minutes longer or until meat is

tender and is no longer pink. (Turkey can be basted during cooking with

orange sauce.) Cut meat off bones and serve with sauce. Yield: 4

servings.



Serving size: 1/4 recipe. Per serving: 245 calories, 4 grams

carbohydrate, 34 grams protein, 9 grams fat, 181 milligrams sodium.

Exchanges per serving: 4 1/2 lean meat.
