Default Dijon Sauced Chicken Breasts

Dijon Sauced Chicken Breasts

2 tablespoons LAND O LAKES® Butter
6 (5 ounces each) boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 cup LAND O LAKES® Sour Cream
1/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard
1/4 cup sliced green onions
Melt butter in 10-inch skillet until sizzling; add chicken breasts.
Cook over medium-high heat, turning once, until chicken is no longer
pink (12 to 15 minutes). Remove chicken from skillet; set aside.
Add sour cream, milk and mustard in same skillet. Continue cooking,
stirring constantly, until sauce is smooth and heated through (1 to 2
minutes).
To serve, spoon sauce over chicken; sprinkle with green onions.
Makes 6 servings.

Microwave Directions: Omit milk. Melt butter in 13x9-inch baking dish
on HIGH (45 to 60 seconds). Place chicken in dish; turn chicken to
coat. Cover with plastic food wrap; microwave on HIGH, rearranging
chicken after half the time, until chicken is no longer pink (10 to 14
minutes). Remove chicken to serving plate; keep warm. Stir sour cream
and mustard into pan juices. Microwave on HIGH, stirring every minute,
until sauce is heated through (1 to 2 minutes). Serve sauce over
chicken; sprinkle with green onions.
