Default Mediterranean Burgers

Mediterranean Burgers

Yogurt-Cucumber sauce:
1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1 cup diced seeded cucumber
1/3 cup chopped fresh dill
1 tsp each minced garlic and salt

4 each kaiser rolls, split; crisp lettuce leaves, slices ripe tomato
and
thin slices red onion

Burgers:
1 lb lean ground meat
2 Tbsp plain dry bread crumbs
1 box (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 tsp each minced garlic, ground cumin and salt

1. Mix sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Let stand while proceeding.

2. Mix burger ingredients just until blended. Shape into four 4-in.
patties.

3. Heat grill, grill pan or broiler. Grill or broil burgers 10
minutes,
turning once, until cooked through and an instant-read thermometer
registers 160F

4. Serve on Kaiser rolls with lettuce, tomato, and onion. Serves
four.
