Default Baked Clam Balls

Baked Clam Balls
Serves:24

Ingredients
2 (6 oz.) cans minced clams
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. bottled hot pepper sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1 egg, beaten
2 (6 oz.) bags cornbread stuffing mix

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Drain clams, reserving liquid. Add water to reserved liquid to
measure 2 cups. In large saucepan combine clam liquid and butter.
Bring to a boil, stirring until butter is melted. Remove from heat.
3. Stir in onion, green pepper, parsley, garlic powder, paprika, hot
pepper sauce, salt and pepper. Add egg and clams; mix well. Add
stuffing and stir until evenly moistened. If mixture is dry, stir in
additional water, 1 tablespoon at a time.
4. Shape mixture into 1-1/2 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on
greased baking sheet. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
