Oatmeal Pumpkin Bread



3 cups sifted flour 1tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup uncooked regular oats 2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ground mace

¼ teaspoon ground cloves 1 cup honey

½ cup vegetable oil 4 eggs lightly beaten

2/3 cup unsweetened orange juice 1 (16 oz) can pumpkin

1 cup chopped pecans



Combine first 9 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine honey, oil and eggs;
add to flour mixture, stirring until just blended. Stir in orange juice,
pumpkin and pecans. Spoon batter into 2 ( 8- ½ X 4 ½ X 3 inch) loafpans
greased and floured. Sprinkle tops with 2 tablespoons oats.





Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool
in pans 10 minutes; remove and let cool completely on wire racks
