Ground Beef Fajitas
1 pound lean ground beef 1 large onion, cut into thin wedges 1 green or red bell pepper, cut lengthwise into thin strips 1 cup mild prepared salsa 2 teaspoons chili powder 8 medium flour tortillas Toppings: Chopped tomatoes Chopped green onion Sour cream In large nonstick skillet, brown ground beef, onion and bell pepper over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Pour off drippings. Stir in salsa and chili powder. Reduce heat to low; cook 5 minute, stirring occasionally. Serve in tortillas with choice of toppings. Serves 4. |
