Applesauce Oatmeal Bread

Title: Applesauce Oatmeal Bread

2 c Flour

1 c Rolled oats

4 ts Baking powder,double-acting

1/2 ts Salt

1/4 ts Baking soda

1 Egg

3/4 c Brown sugar

3/4 c Applesauce

1/2 c Water

2 tb Oil



In bowl, mix flour, oats, baking powder, salt and soda; set aside. Beat

egg, sugar, applesauce, water and oil until blended. Add to flour mixture;

stir just until moistened. Turn into greased 9 x 5 loaf pan. Bake in

preheated 350 oven 1 hour or until pick inserted in center comes out
clean.

Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove to rack. Cool completely.
