Rich Chocolate Ice Cream

Serving Size : 3 quarts servings.
Category : Ice Cream


Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
2 cups sugar
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
2 eggs -- lightly beaten
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
4 cups light cream
1 cup heavy cream



Ready, set, cook!



1. Combine dry ingredients in large saucepan; stir in milk.
2. Cook, stirring, over medium heat until mixture boils; boil,
stirring, 1 minute.

3. Remove from heat. Blend a small amount of mixture into eggs; return
egg mixture to saucepan.

4. Blend in vanilla, light cream and heavy cream; chill.

5. Fill ice cream freezer container two-thirds full; freeze according
to manufacturer's directions.
