Blender Whole Wheat Pancakes
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Serving Size : 1 servings. Category : Pancakes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3/4 cup whole wheat 1 cup milk 1/4 cup salad oil 2 eggs 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons sugar Ready, set, cook! Blend first 2 ingredients in blender until smooth. Add next 2 ingredients in blender, then transfer to bowl and add last 4 ingredients. Stir until smooth, adding 1 tablespoon flour if desired to thicken batter. Pour on hot greased griddle and cook until first side is light brown. Flip and repeat. Nutritional Information: 864 Calories (kcal); 71g Total Fat; (73% calories from fat); 19g Protein; 40g Carbohydrate; 407mg Cholesterol; 2997mg Sodium |

I happened to have some whole wheat pastry flour on hand so I fixed
these this morning. I did NOT pour the stuff into a bowl to mix in the last 4 ingredients ... why, for goodness sake, dirty another dish? The batter is a bit thin but it's nice in that regard as it doesn't stick/coat to the sides of the blender very much so you don't have to scrape the sides.
